Back out visiting stones again after some time away. The contrast between a hospital ward in a city and the stones in the Cornish countryside is profound.
Gales blow in moving weather systems at speed across the sky. No rain though which miraculous in itself. I walk and then sit and rest a while. I touch each stone in turn as I circumambulate the space and then sit again.
The gate to the field has completely collapsed and lies in pieces. The gatepost is detached and wonky. I arrived feeling pretty broken myself but left feeling like I was made brand new.
While visiting the Stone Circle at Duloe I made this short film with the piece of music Those that sparkle in the sky to accompany it. It seemed like an appropriate title given that this stone circle is made of quartz and appears to glow when the moon is full and the sky is clear.
